Old Motherboard Without TPM 2.0—Any Workarounds to Play FACEIT?

I'm dealing with a frustrating issue—my old ECS H61H2-M12 motherboard doesn't support TPM 2.0, which means I can't enable the necessary security features to play on FACEIT. I'm really eager to get into the game! Is there any chance I can make TPM 2.0 work with this motherboard? Maybe through an external module or a BIOS update? Or will I need to upgrade my motherboard entirely? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

TPM is typically a hardware feature built into motherboards. Some boards have a separate TPM chip, and while you could theoretically solder one onto your motherboard's LPC bus, I doubt it would work, especially since it's an older board. Manufacturers rarely release BIOS updates to enable this functionality retroactively. I did hear about a PCIE TPM2 card called the AET, but you'll need to do some serious research first to see if it’ll actually work with your board. If you go for a new motherboard, look for one that supports your current hardware to save costs! Good luck!

I'm sorry to say, but you'll likely need to upgrade your motherboard. The current one just doesn't support the necessary TPM 2.0 features.

I managed to upgrade to Windows 11 on a system without TPM using a certain technique, but I'm not sure if that would help you for FACEIT. Popular tools like Rufus can help with creating a bootable USB, but remember, the anti-cheat system on games like FACEIT is strict, and workarounds could be futile since they negate the purpose of those systems.

Exactly! While tools like Rufus are great for installations, FACEIT's demands make any workaround risky and likely unsuccessful.

Honestly, it might be time to consider a rebuild. Your motherboard is pretty outdated, and many newer games and platforms are starting to require TPM 2.0 for security.
