If you really need a new PC, don't panic-buy! It's usually better to buy when you're ready rather than freaking out over prices. The only ones truly panic-buying are resellers trying to make a quick buck. If you were already planning to upgrade, then look for a solid deal now, but if you can wait, your current setup should suffice for a while.
I've been holding out to upgrade myself; still on a GTX 1060! With my new 32" 1440p monitor, my old card is really struggling. I don't want to miss out, but I also don't want to overpay.
