I'm trying to find a suitable graphics card for my son's gaming PC. His friend recommended the Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB, but I'm not sure if that's the best option. I'm looking for suggestions for a card in the $300 price range, or even a bit higher if it offers better performance. Any advice?

For a good budget option, think about getting an RX 6600 for less money; it should handle older games really well. If he’s into newer titles, though, check out the Arc B580 or the RX 9060 XT 8GB. They all fit around the $250-300 mark in USD.
You might want to browse through places like Facebook Marketplace or Mercari. I've seen RTX 3080s going for about $300 recently, and you could definitely negotiate a bit! It’s probably the best bang for the buck right now.
If you can stretch your budget to $350, I’d go for the 9060 XT. It’s a great pick for gaming at that price point!
If you're open to used parts, for $300, you could get a solid RTX 3080 with 10GB. That would give him an awesome gaming experience!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely check those platforms.
