How to Fix a Computer That Boots Directly to BIOS?

I've recently upgraded my computer, but ever since, it keeps booting straight to the BIOS every time I power it on. I've tried a ton of solutions, like checking my boot order multiple times and tweaking various BIOS settings. I even attempted to reinstall Windows on both the original drive and a separate one, but it won't let me install on the separate drive. I'm running out of options and could really use some help with this last resort solution.

First, can you share your PC specs? It might help identify the problem if we know what you're working with.

If you're still having trouble, when you try to install Windows on the other drive, does it let you enter the key before restarting? It sounds like it might be a drive-related issue. You might want to check whether the drive is recognized by the BIOS.

Try this: Power down your machine from the power supply, then unplug all drives except the one you're trying to install Windows on. With the machine still off, remove the CMOS battery, hold the power button for about 30 seconds to discharge everything, then plug it back in without touching the BIOS settings. After this, see if you can boot from a bootable USB for your Windows installation.
