Looking for Recommendations on VM Tracking Tools

I'm searching for a reliable tracking tool that I can use for managing our company's hosts and virtual machines. Ideally, I'm looking for something that is either open-source or reasonably priced. The tool should be able to track various details like hostnames, IP addresses, operating systems, build dates, VLANs, firmware versions, and more. Right now, I'm using an Excel spreadsheet, but I would like to find a better solution that can be hosted internally for my team to access easily. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

We’ve recently started using Nautobot, and it’s open-source as well. So far, it seems to work pretty well for our needs!

If you're looking for IT asset management tools, consider Block 64. It’s a solid option for both free and open-source solutions. Just be aware that while most subscription tools cover all your tracking needs—including the metrics you mentioned—VLAN tracking might be a bit trickier.

You might want to check out Action1. It's free for tracking up to 200 endpoints, which could be a good fit if you're just getting started.
