Why Does My PC Keep Freezing After Installing a New Graphics Card?

I recently upgraded my system by installing a new Nvidia 5060 graphics card and updating to Windows 11. Since then, my PC has been freezing during gameplay, regardless of whether the games are demanding or not. The CPU isn't overheating, running at a maximum of 95% performance, and I've updated all my drivers and the BIOS. I need some help figuring out what might be causing the freezing issue.

This could be caused by driver conflicts or issues with your power supply. I recommend using DDU to do a clean installation of your GPU drivers. If that doesn't fix it, your 650W PSU might not be handling the power demands of the 5060 very well. Check the Windows Event Viewer for any errors after a crash, especially WHEA or livekernel events.

Would upgrading to a 750W PSU solve the problem?

When your PC freezes, do you see any error codes? Does it completely crash, or does it just freeze temporarily before unfreezing? Knowing more about the specifics can help pinpoint the issue.

No error codes! The screen just freezes, and nothing responds. It's frustrating!
