What’s the best CPU upgrade for my AM4 setup to maximize FPS per dollar?

I'm currently using an AM4 build with a Ryzen 5 5600, and I'm planning to upgrade my GPU to either a 9070XT or a 5070 Ti, depending on what's available at MSRP when I make the purchase. I'm considering an upgrade to either the Ryzen 5800X or the 5800X3D / 5700X3D. I know the extra L3 cache on the X3D models can significantly boost performance, but is it worth spending an extra $200 over the 5800X? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the best upgrade option to get the most FPS for my budget.
