I recently bought what was advertised as a 2TB flash drive for my phone. I'm really hoping it's legit since I want to store a lot of files without worrying about space, plus I want to avoid paying for iCloud. I read somewhere that I can test it on my laptop, but I'm not sure how that works. What should I be looking for to verify its actual capacity? Also, are there any recommendations for reliable flash drives for phones? It doesn't necessarily have to be 2TB.

There's a good chance it's not a real 2TB drive. Legitimate 2TB flash drives are rare and typically cost over $200. If you bought it for $70, it’s likely a fake. Can you tell me where you purchased it and if you have the model details? That can help in figuring things out.

I got it from TikTok’s eattop shop for $70. Now I’m worried I should've just picked one from Amazon.
