Should I Buy RAM Now or Wait for My PC Upgrade?

I'm planning to upgrade my entire computer in late January or February, but I've spotted a great deal on T-Create 48GB 6400MHz CL32 RAM for about R4663 (around $275). Since I can't buy all the parts at once right now, I'm wondering if it would be a wise decision to purchase this RAM now and hold onto it for a couple of months until I can complete my build.

That’s a steal for 48GB right now! Buy it, and you can always wait a bit longer for the other components to drop in price. Honestly, you won’t regret it, especially considering how volatile the market is right now.

Absolutely! I’m leaning towards making the purchase, just need to ensure it will work well when I finally upgrade.

If you're looking to upgrade, I wouldn't wait! RAM prices have been rising and might go even higher soon. That $275 for 48GB is pretty attractive. Maybe consider getting the RAM now and then picking up the other parts later?

Exactly! It’s better to secure the deal now than risk paying more later. Plus, RAM generally has a decent warranty, so it's a safe bet.

Honestly, I snagged some RAM in September for around $330, and now it's skyrocketed to over $800! At $275 for 48GB, I'd say that's a solid deal. Sure, prices might drop in the future, but think of all the gaming you'll be able to enjoy with that new RAM over the next couple of years!

Definitely buy it! Prices are just expected to climb. I read that they might not stabilize until 2028, which is just wild. If you can afford it, grab that RAM now and keep it safe until you're ready to build. You don’t want to regret it later!

If you found a good deal, just jump on it! The PC parts market is pretty unpredictable, and if you have the budget and plan to upgrade anyway, it makes sense to buy now and hold onto it. That way, you won’t have to hunt for the parts later when prices could be even worse.
