I'm looking for advice on the simplest way to install games on Linux Mint. I really like this operating system, but the whole process of downloading and installing applications feels a bit tricky for me. I'd love to hear some straightforward methods or tools that can help me get started!

If you're looking to play non-Steam games, check out Bottles. It makes managing game launchers outside of Steam a lot easier!
I recommend using the software store to find the Steam installer and get that set up first. After logging into your Steam account, download your games just like on Windows. If you're migrating saves from a Windows install, make sure to copy those over to the right Proton folders on the Linux side for them to work properly. Oh, and using the experimental Proton version usually does the trick!
You can use the package manager or the app store to install apps easily. For games, the Steam app is probably your best bet—just download it, sign in, and you can install your games. What game are you specifically trying to download?
Honestly, while I do love Linux, gaming on it can be a bit limiting and complicated. I still stick with Windows for gaming mainly because of that.

Thanks for the tip! I was wondering if I needed to do anything special to get my old files running on Linux.
