I've been using a Samsung 850 PRO SSD, but it's completely full, and I need a new SSD. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews about the Samsung 870 EVO and the Crucial BX 500. For anyone who has experience with either of these drives, what do you think? My motherboard supports SATA III 2.5 SSDs. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I’m not an expert, but I’ve been using a Crucial BX500 SSD with my ASUS P8Z77 V LX for years, and it’s been fantastic. Fast and reliable; I haven't had any issues with it!
Skip the BX500 because it's DRAM-less. I've had great luck with the Crucial MX500; I've deployed a bunch of them, mostly second-hand, and they've been problem-free over four years. Highly recommend those if you can find them!

I've used a bunch of MX500s as well - they're great. But they haven't been a decent price for a while now.
