I'm looking to upgrade my living room with a new 75-inch TV and I'm a bit overwhelmed by the options. I've been checking out various models and brands like Samsung, Sony, and Hisense, but it feels like a maze with all the similar versions out there. I want something that has bright colors and good motion — not too fancy, just reliable for watching both sports and movies. I'm trying to stay within a mid-range budget and want to know if there's a noticeable difference when you move from mid-tier to high-tier TVs. I'd also love to hear experiences with smart TV software; does it stay smooth or does it tend to lag over time? Plus, how far should I sit from a 75-inch screen to get the best experience? Looking for real user feedback before I make a decision!

I have the Hisense Mini LED and it's been fantastic for me. It’s bright, handles local dimming well, and works great for PC use too. It’s a great buy for the price I paid! Divide your budget wisely between features and quality for a good upgrade experience!
I’m a big fan of LG—I have a 70" model with a magic remote, and it's the best TV I've owned. Both Sony and Hisense models are safe choices too if you stick to the mid-tier. They’ll serve you well!
When I bought my TV, I ended up choosing a more affordable option, and honestly, when I set it up at home, I loved it! The in-store differences weren't as significant as they seemed, and it looked great in my living room.
If you’re considering Samsung, definitely skip the Crystal series. Go for at least a Q series instead. I’ve had both and the Q series is much more responsive and has a better interface. You’ll appreciate the difference!
If your room gets a lot of natural light, you might want to lean towards Samsung S95F OLED or the Sony Bravia 9 for bright rooms. For great value, consider the LG C5 OLED too, which is a solid choice!
Check out rtings.com for in-depth reviews and comparisons. If you're looking for an excellent display, I recommend the LG OLED models. They provide amazing picture quality, although they can be pricier, starting around $1400 for older models.
Don’t forget, the brightness settings in stores can be misleading. They use bright lights that make TVs look great on display but can differ a lot once you get them home. So keep that in mind!

Yeah, the LG screens are incredible! Just be ready to invest a bit more for that quality.
