Hey everyone, I'm with a European B2B eCommerce company and we're exploring options to replace our Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) system. One of the solutions we're considering is Entra External ID. I would love to hear any success stories you might have, especially relevant to our sector.
Additionally, are you aware of any Microsoft FastTrack programs or support initiatives that we might benefit from? Our head of development is a bit concerned about the product's relative newness, and we're missing some support from our Microsoft contacts. However, we're open to deploying it at scale if it fits our needs well. Any suggestions or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated!

I think 50k monthly active users is a good start, but you might need more for your goals. Currently, it seems Entra is limited to using email addresses as identifiers, but they might expand that feature soon. I'd recommend checking out their demo site to see what's possible: woodgrovedemo.com. You might also need to set up a logic app to enrich tokens with customer data for better integration.
We're targeting around 1 million monthly active users and plan to ramp up to over 20 websites. Since we don’t have a strong internal infrastructure for IAM, we're mainly looking towards SaaS solutions. Just wanted to share our situation as a comparison!
