I have a huge collection of music and movies that I've downloaded, and while VLC can handle playback fine, navigating my extensive music library is quite a hassle. The movie files are organized well enough that VLC works for them, but I'm struggling to find a user-friendly media organizer for my music collection. Does anyone know of a graphical media management tool for Linux that can group my music by artist, album, and more, similar to what Windows Media Player can do?

If you’re into terminal apps, give termusic a try; it’s pretty neat for a text-based interface! But honestly, there are so many options out there depending on what you like.
Beets is amazing for auto-tagging your music library. It uses MusicBrainz to grab the right info, and then you can use Fooyin for playback. If you want more features, setting up a Jellyfin server could also be a good idea; it supports music but it's still being developed for media functions.
If you're thinking about a full media center, maybe give Kodi a shot? It handles a lot of media types. For just music, have you checked out Rhythmbox? It might not have the flashiest design, but it’s reliable and works great with larger libraries!
Yeah, Rhythmbox is good. It’s not modern-looking, but it does the job really well!
You could try MPV; it works pretty well for media playback. It’s lightweight and might suit your needs if you’re just looking for a player.
You might want to look into Strawberry or Amarok; they’ve got cool features for managing big music collections. Also, Fooyin is worth checking out!

Beets sounds interesting! I’ll definitely consider it since I’m trying to organize my collection better.
