Should I Upgrade My PC Now or Wait for Better RAM Prices?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some advice on whether I should upgrade my PC now or hold off a bit longer. With the current shortage and high prices of DDR5 RAM, I'm reconsidering my plans to move to the AM5 platform. I found a decent deal on 32GB (2x16GB) of 5600MT/s RAM, CL40, which I could pair with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D that I'm willing to buy right now. However, I'm hesitant to spend a lot on supposedly 'better' RAM (like 6000+ MT/s) if the performance gain isn't worth it. My current setup includes a Ryzen 5 5700X3D, 32GB of DDR4, and an RTX 4070 Ti Super. Should I jump on this RAM deal now, or wait and hope for a drop in higher frequency CLs? Any thoughts?

Honestly, is there really a need to upgrade your setup right now? Your Ryzen 5700X3D combined with a 4070 Ti Super is already a solid build. Given current RAM prices, I'd only recommend upgrading if you absolutely need it. Think about whether the performance boost is worth spending all that cash.

I get what you're saying, but with Christmas coming up, I might ask for a motherboard or gift cards to offset the cost. I found that good RAM deal and I've been monitoring DDR5 prices, wondering if it's worth pulling the trigger now.
