Help! My Custom PC Keeps Blue Screening, What Should I Do?

I've built a custom computer that's been running smoothly until about 2-3 weeks ago. Since then, it's been freezing and crashing frequently with various blue screen error messages, primarily related to BCD issues. I tried reinstalling Windows from a USB drive, hoping that would solve the problem, but after just two days with the clean install, the crashes came back, along with different stop codes like KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, among others. I'm including a link to my minidump for analysis. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Looking at your minidumps, they seem quite concerning. You've got an i7-13700K, and if your BIOS hasn’t been updated since 2023, that could definitely lead to issues. It’s possible that you're encountering the 13th/14th gen CPU problem that's been causing failures. The last dump I saw indicated a CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED error, which might tie into that. We need more mini dumps to get a clearer picture and help you fix this!

Could you explain what the 13th/14th gen CPU issue is? I’ll check for more mini dumps, but I only found that one in the folder.

First off, it’s crucial to gather the dump files for a proper assessment of your BSODs. If you can access Windows normally or through Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump directory for any dump files. If you find them, zip the folder and upload it to a file-sharing site like Mediafire or Catbox, as those seem to work well at the moment. Multiple dump files will give us more to work with. Also, consider following this guide to adjust your dump settings to create Small Memory Dumps if you only find one or none.

Here’s a great resource for that: [Guide on Minidumps](https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5560-configure-windows-10-create-minidump-bsod.html)
