Is the Arktek Nvidia RTX 3050 8GB a Good Upgrade for 2025?

I'm currently using a GTX 1650 Super 4GB and I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card. I found the Arktek Nvidia RTX 3050 for about $268, which fits my budget here in South Africa. I'm not super knowledgeable about graphics cards, so I could use some advice on whether the RTX 3050 will hold up well in 2025. I'm aiming for 1080p gaming, especially with some newer games like Elden Ring. Here are my PC specs: I have an i3 3.3 GHz CPU (which I plan to upgrade to be compatible with the new GPU), 16GB DDR RAM (2x8GB), and a B365M HD3 motherboard. My budget for the total upgrade is around $430. Also, I'd love any suggestions for a CPU to pair with the graphics card. Sorry if this seems like a silly question; I appreciate any help!

If you're planning on upgrading your CPU, you might also need to look into getting a new motherboard. It's usually best to prioritize the GPU upgrade and tackle the CPU later since you might be bottlenecked by your graphics. My suggestion is to steer clear of the 3050 8GB. Check if you can find a 7600 XT or a 3060 Ti within your budget; they'll offer better performance.

Thanks for the tip! I actually spotted an MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6 for $354. The Ti version seems too pricy or out of stock right now.
