What’s the best way to handle company email as a Linux user?

I'm using Pop OS and I really dislike the Outlook Web UI. I'm looking for alternatives, like running Outlook through Bottles or using a third-party email client. Is there a better option I should consider, or should I just accept the limitations that come with being a Linux user for company emails? Also, does anyone have tips for using Microsoft Teams on Linux?

You might want to check with your IT department about their stance on third-party email clients. They can often provide the best guidance on what’s supported and what you can use without any issues.

I handle it by keeping my work and personal life separate. I only use company devices for work-related tasks, and it helps a lot with managing usability issues.

For MS Teams, there's a GitHub project that wraps it for Linux, which can be found [here](https://github.com/IsmaelMartinez/teams-for-linux). It might offer a slightly better experience than the browser, but don't expect miracles since it's still based on the web app.

I hear you! The web version can be frustrating. You could try using Thunderbird to access your company email if it supports POP3 or SMTP. Your IT team should have the server details and can help you set it up. Just a heads up, Outlook can be tricky with Thunderbird, especially with Exchange,
