I've noticed that my Intune system is really lagging when it comes to updating device details. For example, when I change device ownership or delete a device from Intune and Azure AD, the updates in Azure happen almost instantly, but Intune takes hours to catch up. I do make sure to sync from the Access work or school settings and the company portal, but that doesn't help speed things up. This issue seems to affect both Windows and MacOS devices, and I have fewer than 100 in my organization. There used to be times when updates were pretty quick, but lately, the delays have been frustrating. Is this a common issue, or could my Intune setup be the problem? Also, I'm not aware of any way to force a sync.

It's pretty common for Intune to be slow on updates. The 's' in Intune must stand for speed—just kidding! I've worked with faster systems like Meraki, but switching to Intune definitely felt like a shift for me too. I’ve heard folks say that other MDMs might be quicker, but I guess you just have to get used to the pace with Intune.
Totally get that! I'm also comparing it with other options like WS1. It makes you wonder if there’s really a difference in speed.
