Hi everyone,
We've hit a snag with our AWS account. It got restricted because of a supposed security issue, which we've resolved—turns out it wasn't a big deal after all. We've changed the root password, set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and checked the account for any unauthorized activity, and everything seems fine.
However, we're facing a critical situation: our application is completely offline, and we can't access any core functions. Every time we try to do something, we get an 'Access denied – You don't have permission to perform this action' message, even when using the root user account or an admin IAM user.
We've reached out to support, but their responses haven't clarified what's still blocking our access or when we can expect a resolution. It's really getting frustrating. Is there anyone from AWS Support who can help us with this? Happy to provide more details privately if needed. Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your troubles. If you share your case ID here, I can try to help you look into it further.

Once you get this sorted out, it'd be great to hear what triggered the restriction and how long AWS Support took to help you out. Admin issues like this can be a real headache, and knowing what happened might help others.

Hi -- I've sent the Case ID via private message.
