I recently set up my old Alienware Aurora R12, and while it's working fine with a few components like my GPU, I'm having trouble with USB connections. Specifically, only my mouse and keyboard are being recognized, but my Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) and microphone aren't showing up at all. Here are the specs of my setup for reference:

- **CPU:** Intel Core i7 11700
- **GPU:** Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070
- **Motherboard:** Alienware 07W25T
- **RAM:** Corsair CMK32GX4M2E3200C16 DDR4 x2

It could also be worth updating your motherboard BIOS. Sometimes compatibility issues can cause USB ports to malfunction. Make sure everything is up-to-date, and that might solve your problem!

First off, double-check if your DAW and microphone need any specific drivers installed. Those might be the reason they're not being recognized. Also, check the Device Manager; if anything’s wrong, you might see a warning symbol next to your DAW or mic. Just a thought! Let me know how it goes.
