Hey everyone! I uninstalled the driver for my GEFORCE RTX 3060 to reinstall it, but now my GPU is completely missing and can't be detected. I have an Asus TUF A15 laptop. I attempted to download the new driver from NVIDIA's website, but it's saying the GPU isn't detected. I also tried NVCleaninstall but nothing changed. Can anyone help?

It sounds like your GPU might not be showing up due to another issue, rather than the driver uninstall itself. First, try rebooting your laptop and check the BIOS to see if the RTX 3060 is recognized there. If it’s not showing up in BIOS either, the problem could be hardware-related like a failure or a power issue on the motherboard. If you see it in BIOS, then we can dig deeper into Windows or driver troubleshooting.
Some users have reported that switching the power setting in Armory Crate from eco mode to standard mode can make the GPU detectable again. You’re not alone in facing this, as quite a few others with the TUF A15 have had similar issues.
Have you tried using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller)? It helps to completely wipe out any remnants of the old GPU driver before you reinstall. That might help you get it detected again.
