How can I fix a broken iPad that’s stuck in a boot loop?

I recently bought an iPad A16 with 128GB, thinking I got a great deal, but it turns out to be stuck in a boot loop. The power button isn't responding, and the screen only lights up when I plug it in. It shows a restore page, but whenever I try to restore it through iTunes, it completes the process only to return to the restore page again. I've heard from a friend that it could be an internal error or NVMe issue. I bought it as a Christmas gift, and now I feel like I shot myself in the foot trying to save some money. Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this?

What seller did you buy the iPad from? If it was through a retailer or online store, are you still within their return window or the extended holiday return period? Sometimes those can be really helpful!

It was a private seller, so no returns possible. I'm really disappointed.

Honestly, it sounds like you got a dud. You might want to consider taking it to a repair shop just to see if they can diagnose the issue further. Sometimes, they have tools to see if it's a more serious problem or something easily fixable.
