I'm trying to connect my old M.2 SATA (M+B) drive to my B650E Steel Legend motherboard, but it doesn't appear in the BIOS or Disk Management. My setup includes one 5x4 M key PCIe slot for my primary NVMe drive, along with two additional 4x4 M key slots. Is there a way I can get the SATA drive recognized? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You might want to consider getting a 2.5" to M.2 SATA adapter. Your motherboard specs indicate that none of the M.2 slots support the SATA protocol directly, so using an adapter is probably your best bet. It’s a straightforward solution that should allow you to connect the drive as if it's a standard 2.5" drive.
Absolutely, that’s spot on! According to your motherboard specs, the M.2 ports don’t support SATA. That means using an adapter is the only real solution to get your M.2 SATA drive to work with this motherboard. If you're not keen on using cables, there might be some M.2 SATA to PCIe slot adapters out there, but using the 2.5" adapter is definitely the simplest way to go!
