I've been having some trouble with the new PDF viewer in Microsoft Edge since they started rolling it out with version 141. Microsoft collaborated with Adobe to improve their PDF rendering engine, but there's a major issue: the new viewer doesn't render PDFs made by SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). For example, I tried to open an account statement from a major global bank, and while it worked fine in Acrobat and Chrome, it wouldn't open in Edge. The new viewer is enabled by default, so I had to go into the experimental flags and disable it to get the old viewer back to open these types of PDFs. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I totally get your frustration! The original EdgeHTML was actually a fantastic PDF viewer, and I wish they'd kept that capability. Now, it seems like there's just so many quirks with the new viewer. Have you considered reaching out to the Edge PDF team? They've been responsive in the past, especially when users report issues like yours.
Yeah, that sounds like a hassle! It's good that you figured out how to switch back to the old viewer, but I agree with the other user—contacting the Edge team might be the best way to get a fix. I've been using Acrobat for a while now without any hiccups, so hopefully, they'll sort your issue out quickly.
