Which GPU Should I Choose for Upgrading from a 1080 Ti?

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from a 1080 Ti due to performance issues with the new BF6 at 1440p low settings. My budget is between $300 and $400, and I'm aiming for stable 130+ fps for BF6, while most of my other games are older FPS titles. The 1080 Ti has served me well for years, but I'm thinking of a potential upgrade. I've seen that the 5060 Ti is suggested a lot, but benchmarks show it's about 10% behind the 3080 at 1440p low. My 1080 Ti is currently hitting 80-90 fps on low, and I'm wondering if spending an extra $300-400 for 20-30 more fps is worth it. Should I trust in future driver updates and DLSS 4, or focus on getting a card with raw horsepower?

If you're getting around 80-90 fps at 1440p low with your current setup, that's still quite solid. Personally, I’d suggest saving a little extra and going for either a 5070 Ti or another version of the 80 series cards. The performance will justify the cost in the long run!

I hear you! I started PC building around 2015 too, and the prices for the same build now are just wild!
