I'm looking to switch to a stable Linux distribution for my Acer Aspire 5 with an RTX2050. I'm really drawn to the aesthetics of macOS and want a distro that can easily achieve that look without requiring a lot of troubleshooting when things go awry. I'm currently fed up with Windows 11 and prefer something lightweight. Eventually, I'd also like to rebind my keyboard keys to match macOS, but that's a later concern.

While it's tempting to try and make Linux look like macOS, keep in mind that Linux and macOS are quite different. If you want a macOS-like experience, go for a distro with the GNOME desktop environment, which has a similar feel. You can customize it to your liking, just be aware that some elements might not exactly align with macOS functionality.
Any distro with GNOME installed could work. If you're unsure, Fedora comes with GNOME out of the box, which might simplify things for you.
You should definitely check out Endeavor OS! It’s a user-friendly distro that can be themed to look like macOS.
The overall look of your Linux environment is more about the desktop environment than the distro itself. While GNOME looks good, also consider KDE Plasma. It's highly customizable, so you can adjust it to achieve that macOS vibe with just a few tweaks.
