What Should I Do After Getting Hacked by a Fake Game Scam on Discord?

I recently fell victim to a malware attack that originated from a fake game on Discord. This is my first experience with hacking, and I'm unsure about the next steps. I'm worried if this malware could also infect my other devices such as my phone, laptop, internet router, or USB drives. Here's what I've done so far:

- Used Process Explorer to halt any suspicious processes, though I'm not sure if I've caught them all.
- Disabled my LAN driver for a while.
- Ran multiple virus scans using Malwarebytes, Windows Defender, and Hitman Pro, but they didn't find anything.
- Cleared all cookies.
- Changed important passwords using my phone.
- Tracked down and deleted the main files associated with the fake game.

I've found a report about the malware here: https://any.run/report/c0532f3d40406fabf7e7da16c043967ef3720e74285c17ed7f05a4420ca92555/f4a55c37-dcd3-4c72-a5e7-5b6ec47be58e.

Any advice on what I should do next would be greatly appreciated!

I’d recommend reinstalling Windows from a USB stick for a fresh start. Also, change all your passwords afterward and set up two-factor authentication if you haven’t already. Don’t forget to remove any unknown devices linked to your accounts. This should help you feel secure again.

It looks like you weren't really hacked in the traditional sense; it sounds more like you were tricked into giving access. If you didn't let anyone into your system directly, it's more of a social engineering issue. Just be cautious and make sure to tighten your security moving forward.

Yeah, that really stinks. From what I’ve read, it seems like the malware may have compromised your Chrome and Edge browsers, potentially stealing some info. It might be best to avoid accessing the internet on that machine until you get it cleaned up and then change your passwords on everything you've used on those browsers.
