Help! My New Computer Keeps Crashing After a Couple Hours

I recently built my own computer, and it's been crashing after running fine for about 1.5 to 2 hours. I've experienced several different error messages, and despite trying multiple solutions—including system wipes, changing drives, and rolling back drivers—nothing seems to fix the issue. I've been troubleshooting for three weeks, and it's really frustrating, especially since I lost two bitcoins in EFT because of it. My setup includes Windows 11 Pro, an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, Asrock B850I Lightning WiFi motherboard with BIOS version 3.50, 32 GB Patriot RAM rated at 6000 (currently running at 4800 just to be safe), an RTX 5070 GPU, and a 750W PSU. The C: drive is a Samsung 870 and the D: drive is a Samsung 860. I suspect the CT2000P510SSD8 drive I had deactivated could be an issue. The crashes happen with various errors: SECURE_KERNEL_FAILURE, CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, and others. It runs fine while gaming or idling, but suddenly crashes. I've tried most basic troubleshooting steps but am open to suggestions if anyone has a simple fix. Thanks!

Crashing at idle sounds like a deeper issue with the Ryzen 5, which I've seen before. Just in case, check your temperatures too; overheating can cause crashes even if the CPU isn't under heavy load.

You're running Windows 11 Pro, have you checked if there are any updates or patches available? Sometimes new updates can resolve previous stability issues.

Have you looked into your RAM? Running it at lower speeds could alleviate some issues. It’s not uncommon for certain Ryzen CPUs to struggle with compatibility at higher speeds. Maybe try increasing the speed gradually and see what happens.

You might want to check your BIOS settings, especially if you tweaked anything or changed drives. BIOS updates can sometimes help, but back up your data first to avoid losing anything important. Have you tried resetting the BIOS to its default settings? That can often help with instability issues.

Yeah, I'd recommend resetting the BIOS to see if it has any effect. It's worth a shot before diving into more complex troubleshooting.
