I'm currently benchmarking my old EVGA 3080 FTW3 that I gave to a friend, and I can't help but notice how extremely hot it runs. We're considering swapping it for a 5060Ti, since I've heard that the performance is similar but it's more efficient. Would making this switch significantly reduce the heat output in the room? If the difference is notable, it might justify the cost after selling the 3080. Thanks for any insights!

The 3080 definitely draws about double the power compared to the 5060Ti. There's a huge difference in energy consumption, so you'll definitely feel a drop in the heat levels if you make the switch!

That's crazy! I've been using a 4070 Ti Super and I can't believe how much cooler it runs compared to the 3080. Feels like a space heater next to my setup!
