How can I deal with a possible Trojan virus on my computer?

I suspect that I might have a Trojan virus on my computer that's causing some weird issues. A few months ago while gaming, I got suddenly clicked out of my game, and when I checked the task manager, I found an active process named "32-Bit Setup Launcher" that was using a lot of CPU. I ran several antivirus scans but they didn't find anything, so I brushed it off. However, the problem has resurfaced. Just yesterday, while playing another game, I was kicked out again due to a process called "Setup/Uninstall (32 bit)" showing up in the task manager. I tried to access its file location, but I was denied access since it's in a Windows Temp folder. I even ran Malwarebytes, but no threats were detected. Right now, it feels like I'm battling this thing as it keeps right-clicking and messing with my screen, making it super hard to focus on writing this post.

If you’re worried about malware, you should definitely try running a dedicated malware removal tool. Malwarebytes is great, but you might want to check out additional tools like HitmanPro or AdwCleaner to catch anything it missed. Also, ensure your Windows is up to date and consider running a reset if the problem persists.

It's odd that you can't access that file in the Temp folder. That could be a red flag. It’s worth checking your startup programs to see if there's anything suspicious running in the background.

Sounds like you've got a tricky situation. Have you thought about booting into Safe Mode and running your antivirus scans there? Sometimes, malware can't do anything when the system isn't fully loaded.
