Hey everyone, I'm building my PC and I just realized that my Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240 Core II is missing the cable that connects the cooling fans to the motherboard. I've reached out to Cooler Master's support and also contacted Memory Express, where I bought it, but I haven't received any response yet. Is there a way I can fix this by getting aftermarket cables or connecting it differently on my motherboard? I'm really eager to get this sorted out, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

From my experience, Cooler Master fans usually connect directly to the motherboard. Make sure to double-check; if they truly aren't compatible, you might need to look into aftermarket options or get a replacement cable.
Typically, fan cables are hard-wired to the fans and aren't designed to be swapped out. But if you're in a pinch, check if the fan supports any adapters that make it compatible with most motherboards.
Just so you know, this model has an attachment. There are adapters that let Cooler Master's specific cable work with various motherboards, so you might have other options!

I totally understand your frustration! If the cable is a unique 7-pin setup, you might need to look at getting a specific adapter or replacement part. Check what that kit should include to see if you can source just that piece.
