I'm planning to upgrade my GPU to an ASRock Steel Legend Radeon RX 9070 XT with 16 GB. Currently, I have an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X CPU, a decent cooling system, 64 GB of RAM, and various storage options. My power supply is a Cooler Master MWE v2 rated at 650 Watts with an 80+ Gold efficiency. Based on the estimated wattage of 557 from PCPartPicker, will my PSU handle this upgrade without issues?

You'll be just fine! Even though you might hit 70-80% load while gaming, that's what the PSU is built for. No need to stress over it.
Your PSU should be okay for this setup! The 9070 XT is known to draw around 350W under heavy loads, which should leave enough headroom with your current components. While the Ryzen 9 5900X could push things a bit under full load, it's still within theoretical limits.
Got it! I think I'll go for the upgrade around New Year's. Just need to save up for a new UPS too since I've been facing power cuts often.
Just a heads up, many suggest a minimum of 750W for the 9070 XT as a standard. It’s better to have a little extra power to avoid maxing it out.
Yeah, I saw the 750W recommendation too, but PCPartPicker shows lower. Wasn't sure if there's a difference between what’s ideal and actual usage.
Definitely! There are often differences between theoretical power demands and what actual gaming draws. AMD's official documents suggest 750W for safety.

Thanks! I was worried since some places say to get a larger PSU, but the cost is a concern.
