My computer from 2021 just died, and I'm planning a complete upgrade. I'm always craving more RAM, but with prices being what they are, I'm unsure if my old 32GB RAM from G.SKILL is still a good option or if I should invest in a new setup. The RAM model is G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200. While I'd like to upgrade to a 2 x 64GB set, I'm trying to figure out if it's really worth the investment. My budget could stretch up to $2500, but I only want to spend that if it's justified. What do you all think?

If your use case really requires more than 32GB of RAM or if you’re going with a platform that only supports DDR5, then you’ll need to bite the bullet and get new RAM, even with those steep prices. It might be worth selling your old RAM to offset some of the costs.
