I'm trying to figure out the fastest RAM I can use on the Msi Pro B760-P DDR4 II motherboard powered by an i5 14500. Will RAM speeds like 4000MHz or 4400MHz work fine, or should I stick to something lower?

You can experiment with higher speeds like 3600MHz or even 4000MHz, but there's no guarantee they'll work perfectly. The memory speed also depends on the build quality of your CPU and setup. For DDR4, try to keep it in gear 1; ideally, the sweet spot is around 3600-4000MHz. If you're looking for the best latency performance, consider 3600CL16 if you have the budget, or 3200CL16 or 3600CL18 if you're looking to save a bit.

Will there be a noticeable FPS difference between 3600MHz and 4000MHz?

For the best performance, 3200MHz is a solid choice, and 3600MHz is a great option if you're considering some overclocking. I wouldn't recommend going beyond 3600MHz, as it may not be fully supported.
