I recently ordered some new components like RAM, GPU, and SSD while saving on delivery by getting my CPU at the same time. However, I've got a Crucial DDR5 Pro RAM that indicates it requires an AMD 9000 series processor. Since I have a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, I'm wondering if this RAM will actually work with my setup. Is it true that the RAM only works with the higher-end AMD CPUs?

Nope, the Crucial DDR5 Pro RAM will work just fine with your Ryzen 7 7800X3D. I can’t find any info on why it says that, though. Seems odd!
You're good! The RAM will run with the 7800X3D without issues. I thought it would have to work, just had to make sure with the wording on the box.
Not necessarily true. While some higher speeds may require a 9000 series CPU or specific motherboards, as long as you have a DDR5 motherboard, using the 7000 or 9000 series isn’t crucial. I’ve been running 96GB of 6000CL30 on different motherboards without any problems.
Yeah, I don’t get why it states that either. Such a silly design choice!

Cheers! Totally get where you're coming from. The labeling is just ridiculous.
