I need some help with my phone. After the latest update, it started to overheat and the camera performance has really slowed down, along with some other issues with the user interface. My mom played around with the settings using the power button, and now it's overheating all the time. She kept mentioning something about the 'overall cache.' I'm really confused about what she did, and it seems to have made everything worse.

Honestly, why did you let someone else mess with your phone? Just a heads up, if you have an iPhone, you'll likely need to reinstall the OS using iTunes.
If your apps are running slowly, it could be because RAM is overloaded with too much data. Have you tried closing any background apps? And hey, it sounds cliché, but did you reboot your phone since the issues started?
I did restart it once, but it didn’t solve the issues. I've been clearing the cache and optimizing memory and storage pretty regularly, too.
If the software is acting up, your best bet might be to back up your important photos and data first. After that, consider doing a factory reset on the phone. This will bring it back to its original state, and you can set everything up the way you want afterward.
Sounds like a plan! Just make sure to back up those important pictures on our family computer before you go for the reset.

Because when I'm juggling a lot, I don’t really mind if my mom wants to grab my phone. Life isn’t always ideal! But just so you know, I don't have an iPhone.
