Troubleshooting New PC Boot Issues

I recently built a new PC and I'm having trouble with it booting up properly. Whenever the system shuts down, it doesn't restart as it should. The RGB on my CPU cooler lights up, but nothing else responds when I try to power it on — the power and reset buttons are unresponsive. I notice a single red LED on the motherboard lights up when I first press the power button, which I believe indicates a CPU check. When it does work, it powers on for longer, with a series of LEDs lighting up in sequence. I usually manage to get it to boot again after a power cycle, but it's inconsistent and clearly something's off. Here are my specs:

* Motherboard: Gigabyte Gaming B850 Wifi6 rev1.0
* CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
* GPU: AMD Radeon RX 560 (planning to upgrade to 9060 XT)

I'd appreciate any guidance!

What power supply are you using? Knowing the wattage and model can help pinpoint the issue. Switching to the 9060 XT GPU will definitely improve performance, but make sure your PSU can handle it first!

I'm using a Gigabyte 650G PSU.

It sounds like a power issue. Have you tried replacing the CMOS battery? Also, unplug and replug all the power cables from your power supply and motherboard. It often helps to troubleshoot by reseating the RAM as well — make sure to boot with just one stick if possible. You might have had it running before, so this could resolve your issue.
