Hey everyone! I recently made the switch to Linux Mint and ran into a weird issue. My keyboard layout unexpectedly changed from Italian to American without any warning. I can't seem to find the option to change it back in the control panel, and I'm left guessing which keys to press. I've looked through various tutorials, but they all seem to say the same thing, and I still can't figure it out. This problem only started after I logged out to switch accounts and then logged back in. Does anyone have any tips or solutions? Thanks a lot!

I noticed something strange too — on my non-admin account, I can change the keyboard layout without any issues. It could be a permissions thing. Maybe try using that account and see if you can set the layout there first before switching back to your admin account. Good luck!
You might want to check if there's a keyboard layout widget in your taskbar. It can be a quick way to see and change your layout when needed. If you can't find one, take a look at the settings again to make sure everything's configured right. Here's a link to a helpful guide on how to manage keyboard layouts: [Ask Ubuntu Keyboard Layout Guide](https://askubuntu.com/questions/562007/in-kde-how-to-get-an-icon-that-show-the-currant-layout-language). Let me know if that helps!
