I'm seeking advice on upgrading my CPU as I'm noticing it lagging behind my GPU. Here are my current specs: Ryzen 3800x, MSI RTX 3060, AsRock B450m Pro4 motherboard, 48GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, and a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD. I primarily use my setup for gaming and since the Ryzen 3800x is about four years old now, I'd really appreciate any recommendations for a new CPU. If you need more details, just let me know!

If you're looking to stick with AM4 for compatibility and price, I'd recommend considering the Ryzen 5800X or 5800XT. They're solid options and give you good value for your setup. For GPUs, the Arc B580 and RX 9600 XT offer great performance right now. The RTX 5070 isn't bad, but you might want to check out other options too.

Actually, in the US, the XT chips tend to be better and cheaper at the moment. The 5800XT is a steal for around $200, and you might also look into the 5900XT or 5600XT depending on your budget. For GPUs, the 9070 offers better value than the RTX 5070, so you might want to keep an eye out for deals there!
