Is One 120mm Fan Enough for My Liquid-Cooled CPU?

I have a liquid-cooled CPU setup that features two 120mm fans. Recently, one of the fans has started making noise, and when I reached out to the seller, they suggested that I remove the faulty fan and send it back to them. My question is, if I do take out this fan, will the remaining single fan be enough to keep my CPU cool, or should I not use my computer at all during this time? For reference, I'm using an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X processor with a Thermalright Aqua Elite 240 Argb V3 cooler.

You should be fine with just one fan for a short time. The cooler can still dissipate heat with that setup, and while it won't be as effective as two fans, it should manage under light loads. Just keep an eye on your CPU temperatures when you're using it to be safe!

Right, just monitor the temp! If it gets too high, you could always shut down the PC until you can swap out the faulty fan.

If you don’t have another fan available, you can actually run the cooler without both fans for a little while—your CPU should be fine with just the radiator managing the heat passively. Just avoid heavy tasks until everything’s sorted out.

What does AIO mean? I'm not super familiar with these terms.
