I'm 22 and currently unemployed, with a lot of time on my hands. My friend and I want to create indie games, and I've just begun learning C#. I'm looking for recommendations on good courses or resources to help me get started with programming. I'm also thinking about expanding my skills in the future to secure a job in a tech company. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

For foundational programming principles, check out that YouTube course I found! It’s really helpful. And just so you know, computer science is kind of a hot topic right now, so you might want to explore areas beyond just that to stand out in the job market.

Definitely look into Unity Learn, Brackeys, and Code Monkey for game development. Also, consider picking up Blender for 3D modeling and maybe throw in some music lessons too. It'll help round out your skills!

I recommend doing an AI search for 'Top 20 roles in computing 2025' to figure out which area interests you. From there, you can find the top skills needed for those roles. It’s super important to focus on what’s actually in demand instead of getting lost in niche skills. Just keep at it, and consult official documentation to make sure you’re on the right track!
