Hey everyone, my mischievous cat decided to walk all over my keyboard, and since then, I've been dealing with this super annoying volume bar stuck in the top left corner of my Windows 10 screen. I've tried searching online for solutions, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a fix? Thanks for your help!

Check out the screenshot I attached. If it looks similar to your issue, I might have an idea where to start troubleshooting. Sometimes weird software glitches can cause these persistent overlays. If your volume is always on display, you may want to try updating your audio drivers or checking your keyboard settings. Let me know if that helps!

Is that volume bar stuck at 100? If so, I had a similar situation where my volume would jump back up to 100 even after I tried turning it down. I ended up installing a manual volume lock which didn't remove the bar, but it did prevent unexpected loud noises. Cleaning the keyboard helped too, and when I restarted, that annoying bar finally disappeared! Oh, and once I changed my mouse (it had volume control), that fixed it as well. Just some things to consider!
