I'm putting together my first gaming PC and I want it to be both cost-effective and durable. Here's what I'm considering for my build:
- Sapphire Pure Radeon RX 9060 XT
- AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
- Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- Kingston NV3 SSD
- Montech Century II 850 power supply
- AS Rock B650 Steel Legend WiFi ATX AM5 motherboard
- Kingston Fury DDR5 5600 MHz 2x16GB RAM (which I already bought)
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the part list and if you have any suggestions!

This build is quite similar to mine and it runs super smoothly! One thing to note, though, is the PSU is a bit gray; it might be noticeable if aesthetics matter to you.
If you can find a Ryzen 7500F at a good price, that could help cut costs even more. Just make sure you get the 16GB model of the GPU, especially if you're gaming at higher resolutions than 1080p.
Your build looks solid for a first timer, but I’d recommend swapping the Kingston NV3 SSD for something with TLC flash for better endurance. The AS Rock motherboard might be a concern if you ever want to upgrade to an X3D CPU. You can save money by choosing a cheaper 9060 XT model and looking for a budget cooler and PSU. The Sapphire Pulse 9060 XT is a good option if you're after low noise and heat – just tweak the fan curve for quieter performance.
Would a SAMSUNG 990 PRO 1TB NVMe SSD be a better choice? I could save money on the cheapest 9060 XT by doing that.
A lot of people are telling me to go for the 5060 Ti instead because of AMD's issues. What's your experience? I'm really unsure, especially since the GeForce is pricier but supposed to be more reliable.

What PSU do you think I should go with instead?
