I recently got some upgrades for my PC but I'm feeling totally lost trying to put it together myself. If I already have all the parts, how much should I expect to pay someone to build it for me?

I might be able to help you out! Just remember, you could also check local PC shops; they usually charge based on an hourly rate, and it might take a few hours. Generally, expect to pay around $100 to $200 for a standard build, but if you have some unique cooling needs, it could go higher. Microcenter often has competitive rates, if there's one near you.

That sounds about right! I've seen similar prices advertised online. It's always a good idea to compare a few quotes before you decide.

If you're thinking about hiring someone, it depends on your area. Some people might just do it for a meal, while shops might charge around $50 to $250 for their services, especially for a quick turnaround. Just ensure that whoever you hire will set everything up correctly, including the OS and drivers.

Honestly, I think you could do it yourself! Grab a screwdriver and some painters tape, and just go for it. If you hit a bump, just record short clips of what you're struggling with and ask for advice here or on tech forums. Of course, if all else fails, you can always look to pay someone—I’ve heard prices can be as low as 50 euros in some parts of Europe.

If you're near a Microcenter, their pricing is pretty good. But make sure to ask around for local recommendations too; faster service usually means a higher price. It's okay to pay for quality, especially if they’re assembling everything correctly and doing some basic tests afterward.

If you're looking for a DIY approach, there are tons of YouTube tutorials that can guide you through it. It really might be easier than you think! And if you really run into trouble, feel free to reach out for help—I'd be happy to walk you through it, maybe even over Discord if you're open to that.
