I'm completely new to PC building and currently game on my laptop. I want to transition to a desktop build, but I'm a bit overwhelmed. I've gathered some parts I'm interested in, but I'd love some guidance on compatibility and whether my choices make sense given my budget of around $900. Here's the list so far: 1. AMD Radeon RX 7600 8GB - $280 2. 512GB SSD NVMe PCIe - $72 3. MSI B650 WiFi motherboard 4. Ant eSports ICE-300 cabinet - $41 5. AOC 24G4 24 inch monitor - $108 6. Cooler Master MWE 650 V3 Bronze power supply 7. Klevv DDR4 16GB (2x8) 3200MHz - $121 8. AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor. I'm really open to suggestions and hope I won't get roasted for being a beginner!

Honestly, building right now can be tricky because of the RAM prices. If you're flexible on budget, consider bank rolling a little more for a prebuilt system. For example, there are some decent prebuilt options around $900 that might give you better value than building from scratch. Just something to keep in mind!

If you're sticking with the build, I'd suggest looking at the RX 9060 XT or even an RTX 4060 if you can fit that into your budget. You're going to want something that makes your gaming more future-proof! Also, keep an eye out for sales on those components.

It seems like you're off to a good start, but I noticed a couple of compatibility issues. Your motherboard is AM5, while the Ryzen 5 5600X and your RAM are AM4. They won't work together, so you'll need to either switch to an AM4 motherboard or upgrade to an AM5 CPU and compatible RAM. Also, consider upgrading to an RX 9060 XT instead of the RX 7600, as it's a bit better for only a small price increase. Definitely check out PCPartPicker to help you find compatible parts.
