I'm trying to enable the Group Policy Editor (gpedit) on my laptop, but I've followed several YouTube tutorials and none of them have worked. Every time I try, I get an error saying that gpedit is missing. Additionally, I want to disable power throttling—how can I fix this?

First off, can you let us know if you're using Windows Pro or Home? This matters because the Home version doesn't have gpedit at all, so if that's the case, you might need a different approach for tweaking settings like power throttling.

If you're looking to disable power throttling on Windows Home, try adjusting your power plan settings. Go to Control Panel > Power Options, and you should see options for advanced settings where you can tweak things. It won't be as straightforward as using gpedit, but it can work!

Just to clarify, if you're on the Home version of Windows, gpedit isn't an option for you. Unfortunately, there’s no built-in way to access it. But you could check out alternative ways to disable power throttling, maybe through the registry or some power settings.
