Why Did My Apple Watch Get Pinged by ‘Find My’ Unexpectedly?

This morning, my brand new Apple Watch was unexpectedly pinged by the 'Find My' feature around 6 AM. I also received an email notification about it. I asked everyone in my house if they accidentally triggered it, but no one did. To make things weirder, my watch's battery dropped from 100% to just 10% overnight. I'm feeling anxious that I might be getting hacked or that someone could track my location. Does anyone have advice on what I should do?

What model do you have? If it’s the SE 3, make sure to check your settings. Also, remember that only people you've allowed in the Find My app can see your location. If you’re really cautious, turn off location services for a bit or put your watch in airplane mode.

I've got the SE 3. Thanks for that! I'll try updating my watch after it charges fully.
