I just unboxed my brand new Acer laptop and when I try to start it up, it keeps showing the message 'Automatic Repair: Your PC did not start correctly.' The startup guide mentions that I need an internet connection for the initial setup, but I'm stuck before I can even select the wireless icon shown on the screen. I don't have a LAN cable adapter either. I've tried various restart methods and even explored the Advanced options but I'm not sure what to do next. I really wanted to bring this laptop on vacation tomorrow. Could someone help me with a possible fix? I thought about returning it since it's still under warranty, but I wanted to see if there's a solution first.

Just a heads up: if you try to reset your system, make sure your files are backed up first. I’ve heard that sometimes these resets can fail, especially on brand new devices. But if it does, returning it for a new one might be your best bet.
Since it's a new laptop running Windows 11, you might want to attempt the startup repair. It's usually found in the recovery options. If that doesn't work, you can think about resetting the system with a local installation, but keep in mind that it could take a while.
It's frustrating when new tech doesn't work right out of the box! If you've done the startup repair and reset without any luck, I’d recommend reaching out to the store or the manufacturer since it’s under warranty. They'll guide you on the return or replacement process.
