I'm planning to purchase a custom PC build with the following specs: AMD Ryzen 5 3600x processor, an RX580 graphics card, 16GB of DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz, a Samsung 250GB SSD, and a Thermaltake TR2 power supply on a B450 motherboard. The total cost comes to $351.83. I'm interested in any recommendations for improvements or alternative builds, keeping my budget under $400.

Your build looks decent as is, but I'd suggest considering additional storage down the line. A larger hard drive can really help, especially if you're working with games or large files.

I'm thinking about it! My 1TB from my laptop has worked fine for the last few years, so I might wait for now.

What will you be using this setup for? Are you focused on gaming, editing, or something else? That's key to making good recommendations!

Primarily for gaming and some basic editing, possibly game creation as well.

You might want to think about upgrading the CPU. A 5700X could be a good fit for you, just remember to update the BIOS first! A used Radeon 6600 could also be a solid choice, and if you can fit it in your budget, grab a bigger SSD too! Just a heads up, I misread your budget earlier, so ignore my last suggestion if it seemed off!

I see 5700X prices ranging from $100 to $200. Might be a good investment if I can find a deal!
